Here's a funny story for you all - when my mom's cousins met me for the first time, they quickly exclaimed, "He's like some imaginary, prehistoric creature!"

Now, they didn't know that the Irish Wolfhound breed goes back hundreds and hundreds of years (or that the modern version of the breed only dates back to the late 1800s to early 1900s), but I can see why they would think that!
