Wedding photographers + videographers…let’s talk about this! 🗣️ 

Does this sound like you? Can you relate to this? 

Do you have major anxiety when it comes to your never ending to do list and posting on social media?✨

You aren’t alone…and I’ve been there personally where I felt like I wasn’t able to show up, market myself to attract more business and share my daily life because of those icky guilty feelings that would come up.

I see it all the time…photographers posting stories of their long list of editing queues or writing about having personal issues going on so all editing will be paused for a certain amount of time. 

Now, on one hand I do believe that communication is key with your clients- especially keeping them in the loop about their projects. But why do we feel the need to explain ourselves on social media and justify what we are going through or doing or not doing?

Do we really have to feel bad about having actual lives and all the sh*t that comes up, are we not all going through this human experience together?❤️

I just want you to know it’s okay to post and share your daily lives and show up!✨

And maybe start thinking about creating some systems in your biz that can help support you so you DON’T have to be stuck doing everything: editing, emails, posting on social, podcast editing. 

In order to grow and SCALE, you have to learn to start delegating and outsourcing tasks that can help free up your time. I struggled with hiring editors because of negative beliefs that no one could edit to my liking and I wasted about 10 years of time being glued to the computer to edit photos and videos for countless clients.

Now I consider myself more of a project manager as I’ve developed the right teams of editors that I absolutely love because they fully support me.

Stop hiding, start sharing, stop giving your power away being stuck behind the computer and start learning the systems you need to grow and flourish!💫
