Honey's eternal shelflife is thanks in large part to the magic of the bees 🐝 

Bees flap their wings to remove moisture from the high water content nectar during honey's production process, making it an inhospitable environment for bacteria to grow. When the bees regurgitate the nectar to make honey, an enzyme naturally present in their stomachs produces small amounts of hydrogen peroxide, adding to the medicinal benefits of honey.
