Happy LGBTQ+ History Month!🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨

Beginning in 2005, LGBTQ+ History Month is an annual celebration of the history of the LGBTQ+ rights movement in the UK. Each February, LHM draws attention to the different forms of prejudice that still exist - whilst also putting the spotlight on role models, achievements, and the solidarity within the LGBTQ+ community.

This LHM, Kent Union is hosting a large variety of events, from Pride Flag Painting to workshops from LGBTQIA+ charities. 

In addition, many student groups are joining in by hosting their own socials throughout the month! Shout out to ukc.lgbtqnetwork ukclgbtq kmms.lgbtq ukcqueerpoc 🤩
