Max joined his mom and cousin on a trip to Ghana where he learned more about the family’s philanthropy and social investing. 

He says it helped him “understand business and investment in a different way… coming from the American corporate world where it’s all about profits…this has another aspect to it.” 

He adds: “It’s a much deeper sense of value... and it’s honestly something I wish more people knew about.”
