In honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, we are launching a new series chronicling students’ accomplishments, ‘One Year In,’ the MS in Sport Management program. 

To kick us off, we are highlighting Leona Rexhepi, ‘24, from Cohort 58!

Leona started in the sports industry a few years back as a Youth Camp Coach for the Warriors Basketball Academy. From there, she obtained a championship ring with the warriors in the 2021-2022 championship season. Leona has also coached at Stanford for their youth basketball camps. Following Stanford, and during her first year in the program, she obtained a role as the Athletic Director at Waldorf School of the Peninsula (High School & Middle School). Leona is one of the youngest Athletic Directors to have gotten this role at the high school level 😉 

Leona advises current and future students to “take the time to read professional development books. They will help you excel and be prepared for any role you take on.”

Congratulations on all of your achievements over the past year, Leona! 🎉
