Would you drive hours through the night for a group of strangers? Two drivers did just that to save the trip of a lifetime for a group of Quad Cities retirees.

When a week of heavy fog advisories canceled flights across the region, strangers rallied on Facebook to find a ride to the airport for a group of 22 Quad City seniors with a trip to Hawaii on the line.

The Quad-City Times reported that Michael Tumbleson, owner of Tumbleson Transportation was the hero of the night, getting a group of friends to help shovel out the company's neon pink bus.
