Huge congratulations to Lorez Meinhold, our Executive Director, for being named a finalist for the 9newsdenver Leader of the Year award! 🎉 This prestigious recognition annually celebrates leaders in our community who have significantly contributed to the well-being and development of Colorado.
 
Lorez has dedicated her personal and professional life to health advocacy, championing public health policy solutions and funding across various areas impacting Colorado communities. She led Caring for Denver Foundation from a start-up to fully operational in less than 18 months. Today, the foundation has allocated over $142 million for mental health and substance misuse support. Guided by community input every step of the way, Lorez emphasizes the importance of listening and ensuring that diverse voices are reflected in solutions.
