I’ve perfected the art of baking chicken wings. There are 3 tips to make them even crispier than the fried version.

#1: Use paper towels to dry off all moisture on the chicken wings
#2: Using baking powder in the spice rub to season the wings
#3: Don’t overcrowd the pan. Air needs to circulate around each wing to brown the skin evenly.

I made these in my Sharp Built-In Smart Convection Microwave Drawer Oven. It’s such a wonderful addition to my kitchen!

I used the microwave to melt the butter for my sauce, then popped in the chicken wings and set it to convection bake and crisped up my chicken. I love having the option of using this small oven for appetizers or smaller meals!
