If you’re seeking out a traditional celebration, head to your nearest Chinatown for a parade filled with firecrackers, dancing lions, and colorful floats. Or, honor the holiday and learn more about the Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and Taiwanese cultures at events in nearly every city. In New Orleans, celebrate at Mary Queen of Vietnam Church's Tet Fest with sticky rice cakes, banh mi, and pho.
