Black Diamonds founder Chris Walker asked himself a question ahead of #AFCON2023 🤔 “Should I watch the tournament from home or share the gift of African football with the community?” Chris went with the latter, and these images reflect the result of his actions!

“Our goal with holding AFCON watch parties was to promote and celebrate ‘Black culture without borders’ through the beautiful game and Bama’s, the black-owned venue hosting the event. We shared this event inside and outside of soccer fandom and supporters culture. Black Diamonds sees each initiative as an opportunity to cultivate a culturally diverse space where we can all belong to and consider a soccer family.”
