#WhyIRelayWednesday 💜🎗️

“I relay for my grandma. In 2022 she was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. After several chemo and radiation treatments she is in remission. I also relay for my great uncle who was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer in 2018  and unfortunately passed away in 2019. I also relay for my poppy who was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2014 and is currently in remission. I also relay for my friend’s mom/ mentor Ginny. Ginny was first diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma when she was 16 after surgery she went into remission until the cancer came back as stage 4 melanoma. Ginny was also so positive and strong even during her toughest treatments. Unfortunately she passed away in 2021. All of these people have shown me what it means to be strong and are a true inspiration.”
