What do you like best about your classes?
I love how close-knit the relationships are between students, but also with professors.

👩‍🏫 What do you like best about your professors?
They are extremely helpful, friendly, and faithful! My relationship with professors has most definitely been beneficial to my growth as a student.

📓What do you like best about your major?
We are all quite close… Students in the same year and major as you often have most of the same classes, and older students are always happy to give tips and advice.

✝️ How has your faith grown since you’ve been at SWU?
SWU has been an amazing springboard to launch me into living as an independent, involved Christian adult. There are so many opportunities to grow your faith and take part in several ministries around campus.

💙 What made you chose SWU?
There were several factors that led to me choosing SWU. First off, my grandparents met here and got married not long after. Then, my dad and both of his siblings either attended or graduated from SWU. The university is also very involved with our South Carolina Wesleyan district through Table Rock Wesleyan Camps, and I had heard about SWU for a very long time. But lastly, God called me here, to put it simply; and when I got here, he just reaffirmed that call even more.

❔What is your favorite part about the SWU Community?
I love how familiar everyone is. You can barely walk for two minutes without stopping to say hello or have a conversation. You aren’t just a name or number, you’re a human being who people know and love. I would tell a prospective student “If you want a college where you will have opportunities to grow your faith along with your knowledge and relationships—in a small town atmosphere but with a big city within ten minutes—SWU is the place for you.”

⛪️ What is your favorite activity, group, or event on campus?
Honestly I love having chapel. It is so great to have time to worship and hear about the Lord.
