1. LIGHTING💡 - A meticulously staged property and stabilized footage is only half the battle for clean cinematic real estate videos. 
Poor Lighting & Camera settings can make or break your video. 
When shooting real estate, you WILL have multiple light sources at different temperatures and exposure limits. This will affect your white-balance and highlights! 
A good rule of thumb is to have your exposure meter in -.3 to +.3 range at all times, going past ONLY when it’s absolutely necessary.

2. SHOOT FLAT OR LOG 🪵 - Using the standard profiles on your camera usually does the trick when filming everyday content, that DOES NOT apply to real estate videos entirely. 
Shooting flat or Log footage gives you more dynamic range! 
When executed correctly, you’re able to grade and reveal the look you want while retaining the window details instead of them being blown out! 
Add in a LUT for taste (client dependent), but keep in mind it is still a real estate video*

3. SET YOUR WHITE BALANCE!⚪️

Dealing with multiple light sources is going to heavily affect the colors of your video! 
Warmer lights(2700k-3000k) tend to give a cooler auto white balance and Cold lights (4000k-5000k) will give a warmer white balance. 
Regardless, you want your whites to be WHITE, not tinted blue,  not having a yellow haze, White. 
Having  your white balance correctly set for each shot will help the fluidity of your video, keeping your colours consistent from start to finish!
