“God has chosen each of us for this particular time, your particular trip and the particular group that travels with you. And God blesses each of us in our travels. Let it be clear from the start: we go as Ambassadors of God, our school and our loved ones.” 

Fr. Chuck Frederico, S.J., Director of Campus Ministry, spoke those words Thursday as more than 30 members of the Class of 2025 and their faculty leaders assembled for a prayer service in our Chapel of the Sacred Heart in preparation for their week-long immersion trips over the February break. 

Three separate CHS Companions Service groups will travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico; Guadalajara, Mexico and New Orleans, Louisiana to serve communities in need. 
 
President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J., spoke with the group during Thursday’s Service of Thanksgiving and Commission, while Class of 2025 student leaders Jack Ganci, Jack Riley and David Romanowich also participated.
