Uxbridge, it's your time to shine! 🌟 This area, just north of Toronto, was settled in 1806 by Quakers from Pennsylvania. 

In the 1820s and 30s, the community saw a new wave of settlers from Britain. When the local post office was opened in 1836, the name Uxbridge was chosen, inspired by the town of Uxbridge, England. 🇬🇧

Similar to Burlington, Uxbridge doesn't have specific streets that mark its boundaries and is instead bordered by rivers and regional divisions. This characteristic contributes to its scenic beauty! In fact, 4 trails along the Oak Ridges Moraine can be accessed from Uxbridge and are great for cycling, hiking, and cross-country skiing.

This area features a blend of charming century homes in the old core and modern subdivisions in the downtown area.
