CC Sabathia is from Vallejo, CA & was a 1st round, 20th pick of the Cleveland Indians in the 1998. He pitched for the Kinston Indians in 1999 & 2000 appearing in 17 games, & was named the Indians Minor League Player of the Year in 2000. Sabathia quickly worked his way to the Big leagues, making his debut in the 2001 season. The future Hall of Famer would go onto win 251 games in his MLB career. Along the way, he would become a 6 time Allstar, World Series Champion (2009), AL Cy Young winner (2007), ALCS MVP (2009) & led MLB in wins in 2009 & 2010. ⚾⚾
