ASUC officials voiced support and opposition to the proposed separation of the Graduate Assembly from the ASUC and discussed actions they are taking in response to the shots fired last Friday during the senate meeting Wednesday.

The Graduate Assembly, or GA, was created as a subsidiary of the ASUC to represent graduate students, but it has been attempting to separate for the past 20 years.

Not all meeting attendees were so keen on the separation, though.
