Ms. Susan, library assistant at our Southeast Branch, loves connecting with our patrons and also oversees our Seed Library! 

Favorite thing about working for SJCPLS: "Definitely meeting and connecting with our patrons over book talks. We have a special connection to our patrons, and share our stories of laughter, love, kids, and even grief. Our patrons make me smile and feel happy to work with SJCPLS every day!"

Favorite patron story: "One of our long time patrons would bring us donuts and milk on occasion. On one of our long holiday weekends, he decided to gift us with a dozen donuts to show his appreciation for our hard work. Since we were closed, he thought it was a good idea to put them in our book drop. Well… Monday morning I walked into the book drop only to find a dozen donuts crushed all over the floor by a large deposit of books. True story! We still laugh when we see this patron." #nationallibraryweek2022
