Each year, on September 17, we commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787 by our Founding Fathers. It is also a day we reflect on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and what it means to be a U.S. citizen, as well as recognize those who are taking the steps to become U.S. citizens.
