#ThisPlaceMatters and couldn’t be more fascinating. Did you know the brick building next to the Main Library was built in 1898 as St. Augustine’s first water works pumping station? Patrons enjoyed a lecture and private tour by Jenny Wolfe, Historic Preservation Officer for the City of St. Augustine, and learned more about the efforts to preserve this historically important building. Thank you @citystaug — we loved learning more about our library neighbor!
