Idaho CSA week is February 19th - 25th! Let’s get into what it’s all about with idahopreferred! 

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. And if you are interested in eating local and supporting local farmers and ranchers in your community, you need to keep listening. Because there are so many options for how YOU can take advantage. And sign ups season is NOW! 

A CSA is a commitment between you and your farmer. You invest in a crop or protein share from your local farmer at the beginning of the growing season and they provide you a portion of the anticipated weekly, bi weekly, or monthly bounty at harvest season. It is a great way to support Idaho farmers and ranchers from the ground up! CSAs have evolved over the years and in Idaho, we are lucky to have over 80 innovative producers who offer creative variations among their Community Supported Agriculture models, including produce, protein, honey, eggs and dairy, kombucha and ciders, or plants and flowers.

CSAs are all about experiencing the magic of the growing season first-hand while providing support to your community producers to help them in providing fresh diverse seasonally products for years to come. CSAs are as unique as the Idaho landscape itself! From farm-fresh veggies delivered to your doorstep to curated boxes brimming with handcrafted treats, there’s a CSA out there for you.
