Tips for traveling with a toddler:
1. Try to fly about an hour before their normal sleep time (nap, or night). That first hour of the flight can be busy and loud, plus they’ll be excited and stimulated. Once that wears off and food/drink service concludes, things should be calmer. 
2. Get a window seat so they’re less tempted to explore the aisle. All the better if someone flying with you can take the middle/aisle to form a baracade 🤣 plus they’ll love looking out the window. Great time killer while you’re taxiing- point out everything you see, quizzing them on the colors and description of everything. Stickers and post its are fun on the window too. Good way to keep them directed away from other passengers 
3. Give them some kind of drink at take off and landing to help with their ears popping- pouch, bottle, juice.
4. Massage under their ears to help with the pressure 
5. Lots of snacks, surprise activities like stickers/post its/coloring books. My Mom used to pack a special bag for each of us with new exciting books and toys that made travel days so special😊
6. Roller carry-on > travel stroller and diaper bag. Wolfie LOVES this one briggsandriley (small TORQ trunk). He has so much fun rolling and I keep all of his things in there- no diaper bag! 
7. Extra hydration on travel days- I like to pack our own straws so he can drink anything at the airport or on the plane and it doesn’t seem different. Easier than bringing sippy cups ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
