After a narrow victory over the Crockett Cougars on Tuesday, the freshman boys basketball team enjoyed a blowout win Friday over the Hyde Park Panthers.

“Going into this game we were hoping to get a big win, so overall it was a huge confidence booster,” freshman Luke Bell said.

In the first quarter, Coda Becker scored nine points to lead the Knights to 19-2 lead heading into the second.

In the quarter, the Knights extended their lead another seven points to lead at halftime, 36-12.

“I think we did a really good job on offense and driving to the net,” Bell said.

In the second half, the Knights held the Panthers to only seven points while doubling their own point total. The lopsided final score: 72-19.
