TACO SHACK JR: On Wednesday night the JV football team played their first game of the season against the Anderson Trojans at House Park and lost 12-0. Despite this, sophomore Nehemiah Trejo felt that it was a good start to the season.

“We came out with like team players, we didn't think the score was going to be like this at all,” Trejo said. “Everyone played physically, hard, and didn't stop for nothing.”

Trejo believes that the tenacity showcased against Anderson is a positive sign for how future games will go.

“I feel like with the amount of players we have, how physical we are, no matter how many subs we have, we have a good chance for this season,” Trejo said.

The JV team plays again this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Lehman High School.
