STARS IN THE KNIGHT: The JV volleyball team was unable to repeat the freshmen’s earlier success against the Ann Richards Stars, losing the match 2-1.

In the first set, the Knights struggled at first to find their footing at the beginning but began to take it back, pushing the set over 25 points. They held out for several intense rallies but ultimately lost the set 27-25.

But the JV team was determined to turn it around. In an impressive show of endurance, the Knights took the second set 25-22.

The Knights tried to keep up the momentum going into the third set, but ultimately lost 14-16 after failing to complete several key digs.

Varsity continues in the battle against the Stars tonight at home.
