There are so many talented Bluegrass musicians right here in our backyard, and it's wonderful to have a place to showcase this local talent, as well as bring some wonderful nationally touring groups to our town! I grew up going to family reunions at the Givhans Ferry State Park, so having the festival there this year makes it even that much more special to me!" -Steven Sandifer

Long time friends Steven Sandifer on upright bass (Dangermuffin, Battery Brass Band), Stephen Schabel on mandolin (Flatt City), and Keith McCollough on acoustic guitar (Flatt City, Bluestone Ramblers), have come together to create Moto-grass, a dynamic acoustic Bluegrass trio from Charleston, SC. Tasteful pickin’ combined with three part harmonies offer a journey from the coastal marshes of South Carolina, through the foothills of the Piedmont, and on up into the Appalachian mountains. Mixing traditional tunes with more modern songs, Moto-grass keeps one foot planted in the Bluegrass tradition, while stepping out into a sound of their own.
