#WhyIRelayWednesday 💜🎗

"Cancer has affected many people in my life. I relay for my grandfather, John Tuttle. In August of 2016 he was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Through many months of surgeries and different forms of medicines, he lost his battle on February 9th 2017. This form of cancer is extremely underfunded and under researched which led to minimal treatment options and trials. I Relay for more funding and more research so patients have more treatment options. I also Relay for my dad, Marc Schulwolf. My dad was diagnosed with an Oligodendroglioma in the late 90's, another form of brain cancer. In the past 20+ years he has had 2 major surgeries and has gone through both chemo and radiation. While he is not cancer-free, he is the healthiest he has been in years and continues to fight everyday. I relay so that there are more outcomes like his and to one day find a cure"
