FIA Formula 3 returns to the track and our screens tomorrow, and we’re excited to follow sophiafloersch and see what she can achieve in the 2024 season 🏎️

Sophia first took part in a third-tier single-seater championship back in 2018, racing for vanamersfoortracing and it is with Van Amersfoort that Sophia will embark on her third fiaf3 season this year. In an interview with fia.official, Sophia said, “it’s kind of like going back home again". 🏠

Many will note that Sophia made history at circuit_spa_francorchamps last season as she became the first woman to ever score points in FIA F3, finishing P7 and only 0.119 behind P6. However, also just as notable is that Sophia not only scored phmaix.racing's first FIA F3 championship points in the team's maiden season, but also finished the 2023 season ranked well above her team-mates in the standings (and was the only PHM Aix Racing driver to score points!) ⬆️

If you didn’t catch pre-season testing, Sophia finished with a best lap time of 1:47.194 around the Bahrain International Circuit, a time that would have placed her P6 in last year’s qualifying timings ⏱️

And it is for all of these reasons and more that we will be tuning into the first FIA F3 qualifying session (4pm local time, 1pm GMT), excited to see what Sophia can achieve in the Van Amersfoort Racing machinery 💜🏁
