back to back, like i'm on the cover of lethal weapon. 

1. 2024 HYROX u24 North American Champion 🏆

Starting the '24 race season with a bang. Grabbing my second consecutive HYROX u24 North American Champion title & finishing 11th overall. 

The race wasn't perfect but I am continuing to learn that it does not always have to be. I stuck to the script and executed my game plan. Running felt solid & sled splits were my best yet. Lunges need work but the wallballs always bail me out. After the burpee broad jumps, I knew I opened up a pretty big lead & expanded it at the row. The gap wound up being 6:47 by the end.

I did have a different time goal in mind but as bubblestheclowne & I spoke about on Friday, that was a secondary goal. The primary was to defend my title & bring it home. I did that and snuck in a PR along the way. 

2. Mixed Doubles - 1:02:33 - 8th 30-39

Shortly after my indy spin, I hopped into Mixed Doubles with THE Kelly Sullivan. The 30-39 field was deep and full of incredible athletes/competitors. Kel, thank you for trusting me and being flat out amazing. I loved racing with you and I'm sorry I wasn't at my best. I can't wait to do it again. Plus, we undoubtedly had the best race kits. 

3. Men's Relay - 57:45 - 3rd Overall 🥉

The grande finale of the day was Men's Relay with the boys! Not the deepest field but it was dense. Heavy hitters at the top & the race was fast. A slight adjustment in our station strategy from NYC worked out very well. We balled. Wrapped up the day with 100 UB wallballs & a 3rd place finish.

Quite an eventful, painful, and unforgettable day. As always, there is still more work to do & I am excited to get back to it. 🤘🏼
