For those who never played, football is an odd sport. It’s one of the few sports you can’t just pick up and play again. You can toss a baseball, you can shoot hoops, but you can’t really lace up the pads whenever you want.

I set out to shoot this game like any other, and inadvertently caught one of the emotional sides of football. Losing.

I played for Franklin, and graduated in 2015. I know what it’s like to lose on Thanksgiving and how much it sucks to have your career end on a loss. You love the game so much, and your short time within it has come to an end. It’s powerful and I feel for you boys. Keep your heads up. There’s more to do ahead! 🍻
