For this week’s story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Brianna Kondratiuk & Logan Adams ✨

“While we did not meet at Rutgers, it has still played a part in our story. Logan and I met one summer in high school. He was a grade above me and I was relieved when he chose a college close to home, Rutgers New Brunswick. We had many dates on campus when I visited him at school, one of which pictured in his freshman dorm. That night, we spent our second Valentine’s Day at a restaurant that his mom worked at when she went to Rutgers, Old Man Rafferty’s. He introduced me to Rutgers in a way where I potentially would not have ended up there had he not shown me all that it had to offer. The culture, the impressive faculty, and the diverse food choices on College Ave had me keep Rutgers in the back of my mind. I ended up transferring to Rutgers as a junior and was so happy I did. We got to spend time on campus together in between classes and make memories at the same school, up until the pandemic hit. The only silver lining of that was being able to graduate together in 2022 when the Class of 2020 and 2021 were able to walk in a ceremony. That was really special and we are grateful to have graduation photos together. Since graduating, I’ve moved on to complete my Masters degree in Organizational Psychology in Boston and have a career in Talent Management. Logan is currently pursuing his Masters in Digital Media Production at Rutgers and has a career in IT Communications. We both credit Rutgers a ton in building the knowledge and connections we have in our respective fields! When we aren’t balancing school and work, we’re planning our next adventure together! Traveling has become a huge part of our relationship in the last couple of years. Our next stop is Scotland!”
