𝓗𝓮𝔂 𝓰𝓲𝓻𝓵,

You are embarking on a journey that will take you farther and teach you more than you could imagine. One characteristic that you will take great pride in is that you never gave up. Your club career teaches you to lean on the girls standing by your side, those connections will stick with you forever. Those girls who experienced trying times with you are still around today. Club made you learn that you are more than gymnastics and there is life outside of that gym. 

Onto college, your first 3 years were not for nothing. Those weeks, months and years will be some of the hardest times. It was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but, there is one. You learn to lean on the people that truly support you and most importantly learn to trust in God’s plan for you. From the surgeries, coaches’ meetings, and everything in between, you will be so proud that you never gave up. Those experiences will turn into nothing, but a bad dream and you will be blessed with the best coaching staff and environment. Your body will heal, your mind will heal, and your soul will heal. 

This sport and everything that will come with it, the good and the bad will make you into the person you are today. You will be grateful for everything that happened. Psalms 118:24 “today is the day the Lord has made, you will rejoice and be glad in it”, you will hold onto this verse and find joy in the privilege of a new day again. 

As your career comes to a close, your heart is full. Grateful you are able to compete week in and week out. Thankful for the four coaches that helped you fall in love with this sport again. Thankful for the athletic trainer that stuck by your side. Thankful for the girls that became family. Thankful for your family’s continual support, knowing that you have made them proud, even the ones looking down on you from above. Make the most of your journey Faith.
