DISCUSSION: Tour of Duty offseason workouts are slowly coming to an end in the near future as Florida State’s football spring practice will begin on Tuesday, March 19th.

Who are most excited to see in action?

I believe that it starts and ends with the quarterback position. Florida State already have talented options such as Brock Glenn, Luke Kromenhoek, and Trever Jackson to their rotation. However, the coaching staff wanted a veteran bridge option to bring those contributors along in their development. As a result, they brought in former Clemson and Oregon State transfer DJ Uiagalelei.

I realize that some fans are skeptical about Uiagalelei’s skill set due to a few inconsistencies. However, the veteran brings veteran experience, a strong arm, and command of the offense. During the 2023 season with the Beavers, he threw for 2,638 yards with 21 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions.

I believe Uiagalelei could be in store for a phenomenal campaign in 2024. However, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of redshirt freshman Brock Glenn pushing him for playing time as he showcased improvement from the ACC Championship Game versus Louisville and the Orange Bowl versus Georgia. 🔥 #GoNoles #NoleFamily #DJUiagalelei
