🌊 Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight the incredible artwork of our 2023 Ocean Awareness Contest winners, who’ve beautifully depicted climate heroes in action - all women paving the way for change! ✨ This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the vital role women play in the climate change movement. Did you know that women make up the majority of environmental defenders globally?

📈 The numbers speak volumes: Women comprise 80% of the world’s farmers and crucial decision makers for sustainable agriculture. Moreover, studies show that when women are involved in environmental decision-making, agreements and policies are more likely to be effective and lasting.

🌟 Behind the scenes at Bow Seat, we’re proud to have 3 powerful women tirelessly working to highlight the incredible efforts of students and keep the gears turning. A heartfelt shoutout to Linda, our visionary founder; Anne, our operations manager; and Susan, our program manager. Together, they exemplify the spirit of Women’s Day every day by contributing their skills, leadership, and dedication to the cause.
