Natalie Chan, founder and CEO of OWN Academy, was in a number of professions — IT adviser, human capital consultant, co-teacher and film producer — before she made the call to re-engineer the education system.
 
The Hong Kong native, who was one of 40 youths from around the world selected to attend last year’s 49th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, says of her calling: “I want to create a company that empowers young people to take ownership over their lives.”
