I have always had a yo-yo style weight, where it just bounced up & down. When I tried to do workouts at home, I stuck with it for maybe a couple weeks and then I found myself getting distracted by the house chores, or just talking myself out of doing it, or it doesn’t push me. Other gyms were always full of anxiety and people staring or judgement from people when I went near big machines or weights. A female only gym was the first thing that made me comfortable. I even used a machine backwards one day and no one stared at me or laughed πŸ™πŸΌπŸ€£ Meeting the other gym members has helped me gain the confidence in the gym & learning how to utilize the equipment! I’ve lost 26 pounds in my first four months!!!πŸ”₯ The team members are always open to teaching you anything or showing how equipment works so I never feel stupid! I’ve met amazing friends at BFF as well as other women business owners like myself and have networked for my own small business just by making a family at the gym with other ladies! The pelvic floor and ortho PT on staff has helped me with personal injury issues and is helping me get rehabbed back from having my kids and there is NO rush to β€œget my body back”. It’s all about transforming into a healthy version for myself and do it at my body’s pace. I finally found a gym that is safe, comfortable, truly judgement free, and a place I have met friends local to me I never would have met before!
