This past week, #UnitedNations Deputy Secretary-General aminajmohammed gathered with women leaders, including those from across the UN system and representatives of member countries, to mark #InternationalWomensDay.

“We, the women, are taking charge, writing our narratives and calling for financing for our equal futures,” she said.

In a world facing multiple crises, achieving gender equality is more vital than ever and critical for creating a better, more peaceful future for all.
