📍 Deep within the jungles of northern Guatemala, not far from Belize, you’ll find one of the largest Mayan complexes in the WORLD, #Tikal 😮.

…and some agree, it’s where you’ll experience the most magical sunrise & sunset. 

But what we learned — the magic’s not only in the stunning setting, it’s a feast for all senses ✨. 

IMAGINE: as the sun sets the jungle comes to 
L I F E. It’s an orchestra of monkeys howling, birds chirping and flying…. and colors dancing across the ancient temples.

A fellow traveler who had flown twice from Scotland to experience this moment told us: “I can tell you what it will look like, but it’s impossible to describe what it feels like—sunset at Tikal is just something you have to experience.” 

…and we can’t agree more 🥹. 

YES, it was worth the 5 hour flight from LAX Guatemala City, the 35-minute flight to Flores, the tuk-tuk from the airport to Flores, and definitely the (amazing) full-day exploring this ancient Mayan city 🫶. 

TIP: If you want to visit the Park for sunset, a tour guide is mandatory. Make your planning simple — we can’t say enough wonderful things about our full-day sunset tour with @tikalgo 👏.
