NEW STAFF ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are so excited to announce the addition of a new instructor & coach at WCAS - former University of Kentucky dancer Jessica Beach!

A Tennessee native, jessie_beach has been dancing since age 3, competing and performing in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary dance for 15 years and earning numerous awards. She was a 4 year member and team captain of the Hendersonville (TN) High School Dance Team, winning 5 state titles and competing in Pom and Hip-Hop at the National Dance Team Championship all four years. Jess then joined the University of Kentucky Dance Team, where she received both the 110% and Dancer of the Year awards her freshman year. She earned spots on the UK competition team her sophomore through senior year, placing as high as second at the 2021 College National Championships. Her senior year, Jess earned the prestigious UK Coaches Award from legendary Kentucky coach Dawn Walters. After graduation, Jess moved to St. Louis to pursue a doctor of chiropractic degree at Logan University. Jess was in earlier this year as a guest coach for our Junior & Senior Pom teams, and we're thrilled to add her to our staff. 

Jess will be bringing her outstanding experience and expertise to teaching the Monday 6:15p Advanced Flexibility/Balance class and the Monday 6:45p Advanced Youth Stretch/Leaps/Turns class starting March 25th, as well as serving as assistant coach for our Senior Ultimate Pom team.
