Congratulations to Claudia Hess for being named first-team all-tournament and to Amelia Rupertova for being named honorable mention all-tournament at the Quiznos Classic in Lamar, Colo. this weekend! 
Claudia, a sophomore from Abilene, Kan., had 37 kills and eight blocks on the weekend. Rupertova, a freshman from the Czech Republic, had 34 kills, 26 digs and six blocks.

Butler is 3-2 on the season and plays its home opener on Wednesday night at 6:30 against Garden City. Everyone in attendance gets a free box of popcorn!
