As the days go on I’ve been fortunate to feel like I’m getting closer to figuring this coaching thing out.

It’s not about me. It’s not about how I feel that day, but it’s about being the hope, light, or kick in the butt that your players might need.

We don’t have to be everything to everyone. But our best can sometimes make a world of difference.

This picture isn’t even close to capturing the excitement Pepper is feeling. 10 months ago, we attended a softball clinic in Atlanta and it changed everything about softball for Pepper. morganstuart18 amandascarborough made SUCH an impact on her that changed her training, thinking, and love for the game. She has worked with them since through online courses, media post, you tube videos, zoom calls etc. To find role models that not only played and understand the game and all the ups and downs and can understand her, is priceless. We FINALLY made her dream come true. We traveled from Georgia to Southern California to train with Morgan. This girl has had butterflies for days! She learned more in 2 hours than hours at any other lesson. Pepper went in wanting her ball glove autographed so she could see it while she was playing in games for confidence what she left with was Morgan’s childhood glove! Morgan, you will never know what this means to her. She couldn’t stop talking and smiling in the car on way back to hotel. She even slept with it. You have a special gift workin with these girls that want to be just like you. It was worth every mile traveled. She will continue to work hard and show you her progress.
