On August 15, 2022, WE DID IT!!!

We PAID OFF a total of $35,543.57 in 22 months!! 🎉

In October 2020, shortly after we got married, we committed to the principles of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and now celebrate:
🚫 No credit cards.
🚫 No car loans.
🚫 No student loans.
…Nor will we ever have them again!
(CASH IS 👑!)
Words can’t describe the FREEDOM we felt as we called to make the final payment.

The last two years have been challenging in more ways than one: We said “No” to vacations, “No” to Friday night outings, “No” to the extra ‘stuff’ we wanted while shopping all while being bombarded by the world in which instant gratification dominates. We won’t lie, it was hard.
But…we can 100% say each moment of this journey has been worth it! 🙌🏼

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it” Hebrews 12:11

Because we lived like no one else, now we can LIVE AND GIVE like no one else!
On to the next big thing… 🏡!!

A huge thank you to…
• Kirk and Emily Allen, for gifting us FPU for our wedding we couldn’t have/wouldn’t have done it without you.
• Each of the members of our first FPU class we coordinated at St. John’s Lutheran Church, y’all inspired us to stick with it through the toughest months.
• Our family and friends who were our everyday cheerleaders along the way.
