💰 💵 “When you have debt, you owe. When you save, you own.”

In the summer of 2017, my best friends introduced me to daveramsey & rachelcruze. My husband and I took the Financial Peace University (FPU) course at a local church. As a married couple, we aligned our goals and made the necessary changes and sacrifices to meet that goal.

With lots of prayer, setbacks, knowledge, commitment and hard work, we tackled debt using the snowball method, paying down bills from lowest to highest and sticking to our budget with help from everydollar.

After 3.5 years, we paid off $54,000 in credit, student loans, car and medical bills! We became debt free and fully funded our 6 month emergency fund just in time to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary!

We kept our eyes on the prize and are no longer slaves to lenders. Now, as we welcome Baby Steps 4 & 5, we can start a legacy for our children by establishing a financial foundation and paving the path to generational wealth. And of course, continuing to “GIVE like No one Else!”
