🌟🌟FREEDOM 🌟🌟

A little over 3 years ago Steve and I became sick and tired of being sick and tired about being in debt.
£18,600 (AUS$ 33,645) of bad decisions and stupidity with money had us almost beat... but a quick internet search later I discovered Dave Ramsey 🙌🏼 🇺🇸 we got to work educating ourselves on his plan and with Steve being a hardcore gamer I drew up our #malonemoneymaddnessgame (see 2nd photo) to keep us motivated and we decided right then and there that we were gonna change our lives for good... 🌟

35 looooong months later = WE DID IT 🥳

27.2.2021 we officially became DEBT FREE... 🤩🤩🤩

For the best part of the last 2.5 years Steve has worked 2 jobs, delivering takeaways sometimes 5 nights a week after his full time day job and almost always working 7 days a week 💪🏼🥇🚙 🥡 we moved into a smaller and cheaper flat, cut up our credit card, drove a cheap car we paid cash for and we sold stuff online and at car boot sales. We accepted all offered overtime at work, stripped our budget bare, and started paying cash for absolutely everything. We have said no to things we wanted, missed out on trips and fun stuff but we became so grateful for all that we already have. We sacrificed our summers and days off, to work Daves #babysteps... (yes Dave we worked so hard even our nostrils hurt! 🤣)

It’s still sinking in that we now have NO payments AT ALL outside our household bills... living on a budget has changed our future and given us the freedom to enjoy our journey thru life.

If we can do it - anyone can, but you have to live like no one else so later you can live like no one else!
