God is faithful, and He ordained this.

This process has been challenging, but well worth it. We first took Finance Peace University at First Baptist Church in Russellville, AR, back in 2016. It was life-changing. Shortly after, we started to get on a budget, but it was tough. Then, we moved to Birmingham, AL, and began to lead FPU at clcbham. Being FPU Coordinators was a great source of accountability. Reading books from daveramsey and watching people on his podcast do their debt-free scream made the dream seem achievable.

God is able.

🔥We worked multiple jobs.
🔥We said no.
🔥We got on a budget.
🔥We disagreed.👈 (THE HARDEST PART)
🔥We remembered why.

It wasn't pretty. It wasn't easy. It wasn't perfect. But now it's over, and we can celebrate! The hardest part of this whole process was staying in agreement with one another. Even though we have been together for 13 years when talking about money, it gets real!

In conclusion, if we did it, you can do it.

God is able.
