Blessings on blessings on blessings! ⚠️🙏🏽🥳💰✨

In September 2019 I enrolled in daveramsey’s #FinancialPeaceUniversity class with high interest #studentloans, credit card debt, no real #budget or financial goals, and A LOT of hesitation lol. After the first class my entire mindset was changed! Over the 2 months, I learned the importance of #financialliteracy, how to be intentional with my money and I was able to clearly see the path towards my #financialfreedom. Becoming #debtfree quickly became a goal of mine after starting the class, especially after watching my boyfriend pay off all his debt using this same program a year prior!

Did I want to quit during these 11 months? YES…many times. 😂

Was my starting amount in September 34K? NO…swiped my credit card several times during this journey which increased my total. 🙃🥴

Once I took my focus off the things that brought me “current satisfaction” and society’s views on “money” and “wealth” and focused more on God’s plan for how we are to use our money, and my plans to build #generationalwealth for my future family, I became laser focussed and the sacrifices (whew, don’t get me started) were all worth it in the end.

My original goal was to be debt free by December 2020 but the #quarantine helped me save more than planned and I was able to finish in August.

This 11 month journey was life changing and one of my proudest accomplishments ☺️.

Thanking God for ordering my steps and making sure everything else in my life aligned to support this mission! And thank you Dave, rachelcruze and chrishogan360 for creating this program and selflessly pouring into people like me! 26 and debt free... man I’m just getting started, because “when you live like no one else, later you can live and give like no one else!”

Debt free is the lifestyle for me. 🤪
