We are debt free! ⁣

I have waited so long to be able to say this. 😭 4 years to be exact! ⁣
⁣
If you have known us at any time during this process, you may have seen the sacrifices we have made. ⁣
⁣
Let’s flashback to four years ago. ⁣
⁣
My husband and I had more money going out than we had coming in. We both had some past experiences that left us in over our heads in debt. We were addicted to spending money, credit cards, and wanting things we couldn’t afford.⁣
⁣
We. Were. BROKE! ⁣
⁣
We were to the point of having to sell things each month JUST to have money to pay all our bills. ⁣
⁣
We HAD to do something. ⁣
⁣
We discovered Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover, and it changed our lives. ⁣
⁣
We sacrificed: ⁣
- Eating out⁣
- Vacations⁣
- New Clothes⁣
- New Cars⁣
- Owning a home⁣
- Buying pretty much anything that wasn’t needed⁣
⁣
We learned: ⁣
- How to work together to meet our goals⁣
- How to be happy without keeping up with the Joneses⁣
- How comparison is the thief of joy⁣
- How to manage our money⁣
⁣
We are different people, ya’ll, and I am so proud of us I could cry! ⁣
⁣
God-willing….From this point forward, I will never pay for anything (besides a home) using credit EVER AGAIN!⁣
