Thank you Jesus!! All glory to God!!! It feels so amazing to do my debt free scream!!! A few years back my parents did FPU at church and I was Dave-ish and made a budget here and there but September 2019 I decided to jump in and be 120% on the Dave plan! I followed Baby step 1 ✅ and then hit Baby Step 2 like a gazelle on steroids (I was sprinting for my financial life!!) I had credit card and student loan debt. I did my strict budget each month and threw all my basketball stipend, VIP kid paycheck, and any extra money I got straight at my debt!! My husband saw how hard I was working and stepped in and helped me crush my debt way faster than I planned! So thankful for my husband, parents, and Dave Ramsey!! dmak04 I couldn’t have done this in 10 months without you, thank you for being my rock and helping me kill the debt!! I love you so much!! Thank you to my parents for introducing me to Financial Peace University, it has changed my financial life! And thank you to daveramsey for creating the Baby Steps and writing The Total Money Makeover! Before I read it, on my teacher salary it would have taken me 15 years to get out of debt! Debt is dumb. Cash is King! Now I’m on Baby Step 3 and have a sinking fund for a new to me car! Ahhhh this is seriously one of the best feeling ever!!!!
