Baby Step 6 is a big one! There's only ONE more thing standing between you and complete freedom from debt—and that’s your mortgage.

This part of paying off debt is a little more like a marathon than the sprint during Baby Step 2. Put any extra money in your monthly budget after putting 15% toward retirement and contributing to your kids' college fund, toward your mortgage. This could save you tens (or even hundreds) of thousands in interest. The grass will truly feel different under your feet once your home is YOURS.

Can you imagine your life with no house payment?! It's absolutely possible.
